Abstract

Banten NTP in January 2019 amounted to 100.28, down 0.24 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The decline in NTP due to the rate of increase in the Farmers Received Price Index (It) is still slower than the rate of increase in the Farmer Paid Price Index (Ib).
In January 2019 there was rural inflation in Banten Province of 0.63 percent which occurred in almost all expenditure groups except the Transportation and Communication group.
Banten's Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in January 2019 was 106.35 or down 0.96 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
The average grain price at farm level in January compared to December 2018 for Dry Grain (GKG) increased by 2.92 percent, Dry Grain Harvest (GKP) increased by 4.48 percent and for Grain outside quality rose by 13.61 percent.
Average January 2019 grain prices at the Farmer level for Rp. 5,729 per kg, GKP Rp. 5,600 per kg, and low quality Rp. 4,800 per kg.
The lowest grain price at the farm level is Rp. 4,200 per kg for low quality with ciherang varieties and the highest price at the farm level of Rp. 6,500 per kg for the quality of MPD with the Ciherang variety.
The nominal wage of farm laborers in January 2019 compared to the wages of agricultural laborers in December 2018 has increased by 3.03 percent or up from Rp. 60,885 per day to Rp. 62,730 per day. In real terms increased by 2.38 percent, up from Rp. 43,313 per day to Rp. 44,345, - per day.
