Abstract

Banten NTP in March 2019 amounted to 100.14, down 0.50 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The decline in NTP was due to a decrease in the price index of farmers while the price index paid by farmers increased.

In March 2019 there was rural inflation in Banten Province of 0.09 percent which occurred in expenditure groups namely foodstuffs, processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco, health and transportation and communication groups while deflation and housing and clothing groups occurred.

Banten Agricultural Business Exchange (NTUP) value in March 2019 amounted to 105.72 or decreased 0.50 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.

The average grain price at the farmer level in March compared to February for Dry Grain (GKG) decreased by 1.65 percent, Dry Grain Harvest (GKP) fell by 12.21 percent.

Average grain price in March 2019 at the Farmer level for Rp. 5,535, GKP Rp. 4,477, - per kg, - and low quality Rp. 3.993, - per kg.

The lowest grain price at the farm level is Rp. 3,900, - per kg for Low quality with ciherang varieties and the highest price at the farm level of Rp. 5,650 per kg for the quality of MPD with the Ciherang variety.

The nominal wage of farm workers in March 2019 compared to the wages of agricultural laborers in February 2019 has increased by 0.10 percent or up from Rp. 63,014, - per day to Rp. 63,080, - per day. In real terms *) there was also a rise of 0.02 percent, up from Rp. 44,698, - per day to Rp. 44,706, - per day.
