Development of Consumer Price Index of Serang Municipality March 2025

1. In March 2025 there was year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Serang Municipality of 0.25 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.75.

2. The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in almost all expenditure group indices, namely: personal care and other services group by 11.43 per cent; food and beverage supply group by 2.50 per cent; health group by 2.29 per cent; education group by 1.38 per cent; household supplies, equipment, and routine maintenance group by 1.17 per cent; transportation group by 1.02 per cent; food, beverage and tobacco group by 0.84 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.60 per cent; recreation, sports and culture group by 0.15 per cent.

3. The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate and year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate of Serang Municipality in March 2025 were 2.15 per cent and 0.04 per cent respectively.
