Abstract

Banten's Economy in 2018 which is measured based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) on the basis of current prices reaches Rp 614.91 trillion and Perkapita PDRB reaches Rp 48.46 million.
Banten's economy in 2018 grew by 5.81 percent, higher than 2017's achievement of 5.73 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by Real Estate Business Fields of 7.88 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the Government Consumption Component which grew by 7.14 percent.
Banten's economy in quarter IV-2018 when compared to the fourth quarter of 2017 (y-on-y) grew by 5.98 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Business Field at 21.11 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the Gross Fixed Capital Formation Component of 7.88 percent.
Banten's economy in quarter IV-2018 increased by 0.99 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the highest growth was in the Construction Business Field at 5.59 percent. While in terms of expenditure, this was achieved by the Government Expenditures component which increased by 44.01 percent.
The economic structure of Java Province in 2018 is still dominated by DKI Jakarta Province which contributes to Java's Gross Regional Domestic Product of 29.66 percent, followed by East Java Province at 24.98 percent, West Java Province at 22, 39 percent. Meanwhile, Banten Province contributed 7.02 percent.
