Development of Consumer Price Index in Serang Municipality April 2025

1. In April 2025 there was year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Serang Municipality of 1.57 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 108.41.

2. The y-on-y inflation occurred due to price increases indicated by the increase in almost all expenditure group indices, namely: personal care and other services group by 14.97 percent; household supplies, equipment, and routine maintenance group by 2.65 percent; health group by 2.54 percent; food and beverage/restaurant supply group by 2.43 percent; recreation, sports, and culture group by 1.61 percent; education group by 1.38 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.63 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 0.37 percent; food, beverage and tobacco group by 0.24 percent.

3. The month to month (m-to-m) and year to date (y-to-d) inflation rates for Serang Municipality in April 2025 were 1.56 percent and 1.52 percent respectively.
